Amazon Flex Delivery Station Route 20 Modification
Context
Amazon asked to modify its 2021 site plan/special permit approval for the Route 20 facility to add a flex (last-mile delivery) program. A board member's memo alleges the facility exceeds the 2021 traffic volume limits, crashes have risen at each monitoring period, required condition-16 monitoring reports and an ATCS concept-of-operations report are missing, and no mitigation is proposed. The board asked staff (Dylan, town planning staff) to ask the zoning enforcement officer to pursue a notice of violation. The applicant side (Matt, Zach/Van Austin) said general management was unaware and accepted MDM mitigation ideas; March/September 2026 monitoring awaits Amazon survey data. KP Law to advise on procedure. Applicant names are ASR-approximate.
Status
Hearing continued to October 21, 2026 (procedural session with KP Law).
