Death Certificate and Dog License Fee Changes

Context

On September 8 the board unanimously set the death certificate fee to $0 (about 165 per year; all certified copies bring in ~$7,700 per year). A warrant placeholder was approved for dog license exemptions for seniors and veterans pending a town counsel opinion on whether a bylaw or town meeting action is required. On September 22 Article 7 was amended to a $5 dog license fee for seniors and $0 for veterans.

Status

Death certificate fee resolved ($0). Dog license changes go to the October 19 Special Town Meeting as Article 7.
