Blue Sky Towers Bond Road Cell Tower
Context
Blue Sky Towers (for Verizon, via Smartlink) is proposing a cell tower at Bond Road (new 911 address 91 Bond Road; underlying lot 103). All 22 Graves peer-review comments were acknowledged (the last was a signed O&M plan). Four waiver requests were pending (barbed-wire fence, access gate, landscaping, others). A removal-bond estimate was discussed; the Conservation Commission added a wetland flag with ~260 sq ft of mitigation after clearing in 2021; a 20 ft paved apron was required; borings found no groundwater to 10 ft, so extra test pits were resisted. The town may use the pole for communications. The board floated a decommissioning trigger of about 10 years with no carrier.
