Historic Marker Program

Context

The commission's historic marker program. In 2026 it includes the Sidestown marker unveiling (November 15, 2026 per the October agenda) and an American Revolution Forsyth (America250) countywide marker event on October 11, 2026 at 3:00 PM, for which board members volunteered on August 5. Staff (Isabel Coletti) presented revised evaluations and a marker policy on September 2, and a vote on the policy and evaluation sheet is on the October 7 agenda.
