Rhyne Avenue Park Land Designation Removal

Context

A resolution to remove the park land designation from PIN 6833-49-1092, on the south side of Rhyne Avenue between South Main Street and US 52. A companion resolution concerns the sale of one city-owned lot to Prosperity Alliance, and the attachments include a Planning Board staff report and minutes of a public hearing on the Prosperity Alliance proposal. The General Government Committee recommended approval. It was consent item C-1 (26-0373) on the October 5, 2026 agenda. The agenda does not give the sale price or the intended use.

The City-County Planning Board held a public hearing on 2026-08-13 on Prosperity Alliance's proposal to buy park land on the south side of East Rhyne Avenue, across from Stockton Street, and recorded approval.
