Context

Subdivision in Thomasville Township in the watershed overlay (one dwelling per 40,000 square feet using lot-size averaging). Phase 1 (three lots) was approved in October 2025; Phase 2 is the remaining 19 lots. Jonathan Cook appeared for the developer, who plans an HOA.

Status

October 6: final plat not approved; the Board granted a two-month extension of the preliminary approval so the plat can be redesigned with off-site septic areas placed in HOA common area. Water and NCDOT certifications were still outstanding.
