Context

Proposed 30-lot subdivision in Cotton Grove Township off NC 8 and Jersey Church Road near Southwood Elementary, on two parcels, using lot-size averaging and a single internal state road. Developer Justin Nifong; plat by Jones-Coe Land Surveying (owner on the plat: David A. Hedrick). A soil scientist reported suitable septic soils; NCDOT asked for negative access easements along Jersey Church Road and a 45-foot right-of-way radius at the entrance.

Status

Preliminary plat approved July 21; a final plat will follow.
